This privacy policy applies exclusively to the use of Freight pilot delivery app as well as the FreightPilot test system App processes data and your rights in this regard. You can read the privacy policy for the FrachtPilot platform here find.

Collection of general information when logging into the app

When you log in, data is stored on your Android device, which allows communication with the FrachtPilot servers and authorizes your device to continue using the app. Your password is never saved.

In particular, they are processed for the following purposes:

- ensuring a smooth connection to the platform,
- ensuring a smooth use of our platform,
- Evaluation of system security and stability

The provision of the aforementioned personal data is neither required by law nor by contract. However, no functionality of the app can be provided without the saved access tokens. Tour information and operating dates

In order to enable the FreightPilot app to function, some personal data must be cached on the device. The encrypted stored data can only be accessed via the FrachtPilot app.

The data includes the names and addresses of the persons to be delivered, as well as the respective goods ordered. In addition, internal system data such as customer groups or customer-specific price overrides are transmitted.

The processing of data stored is based on the consent of the person whose data is stored (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). In particular, this data must also be processed to fulfill a contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

Information about tour implementation

In order to display the course of the tour in the FreightPilot and to ensure economic planning, information about the current status of the trip is transmitted to the FreightPilot platform. These include in particular the mileage of the vehicle at the start and end of the tour, the time of arrival for the customers to be delivered and the current position of the vehicle (their device). The data is stored persistently in the FrachtPilot platform. Only the location of your device is not persisted chronologically. The location history is not known at any time.

The data entered during registration is processed on the basis of a legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO). This interest results from the business need to examine the status and profitability of trips traveled.

In order to be able to quickly record order items, the image taken by the mobile phone outdoor camera is searched for bar codes. The processed image data is not saved at any time. The result of the analysis is a number that may be encoded by a bar code in the image, which is also not stored but is only used to search the product database.

In order to document deliveries in as legally secure a manner as possible, signatures of the delivered customer or a picture of the storage location of the order can optionally be entered. This data is stored in encrypted form and transmitted to the FrachtPilot platform in encrypted form.

By using our platform, Google receives information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our platform. This is done regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether there is no user account. If you do not want your profile to be assigned to Google, you must log out of Google before activating the button. The provider currently offers no option to simply opt out or block data transfer.

Access to the app

The data used by the app is encrypted and can only be read by the app. To restrict this access to you, please choose appropriate passwords and security mechanisms provided by your Android device.
