The FrachtPilot is constantly evolving. And so is that team, which is behind it. That is why we often offer internships.
It is very important to us that interns do not make coffee 40 hours a week. That is why they take over from us responsible tasks and can thus acquire practical knowledge. In this way, both interns can learn something from us and we can learn from interns.
Emma is currently our intern. We are having a short interview with her today. She'll talk a bit about her experiences at FrachtPilot Talk as a graphic design intern, so be sure to stay tuned!
Hey Emma! First of all, thank you for taking the time to do this interview. We are super happy to be able to employ you as an intern! Let's start with the interview right away.
Would you like to briefly introduce yourself at the beginning?
Gladly. Hi, I'm Emma, I'm 18 years old and I'm from here minster and I graduated from high school last year. After that, I did a voluntary social (half) year in a hospital and am now completing an internship in the area graphic design here at FrachtPilotto find out in which direction I should go professionally.
In my free time I like to be creative, meet up with friends or spend time with our dog.
What are the typical tasks that you will work on during your internship?
I actually do a lot of different things, whether it's advertising for a magazine, an explanatory video or ideas for a new exhibition stand. And I also like that very much about this internship, i.e. that you can try out and get to know many different types of media and programs.
Cool, then the internship seems to be fun. FrachtPilot It is still a young company, a start-up. What is the working environment like?
The working environment is very pleasant and relaxed (definitely not as stressful as in a hospital) and the flexible working hours mean that the rest of everyday life is also more relaxed.
If you have to draw a conclusion so far: Is the internship something like you imagined? If not, where and how were your expectations different?
Yes, it has been so far, but I didn't really know what to expect before. As I said, I think it's great that you can try out and get to know so much without pressure and also actively participate in the process.
And the last question: Would you do an internship at FrachtPilot recommend?
Yes, I would, especially for people who also actively and independently work on an internship and want to gain new knowledge instead of making coffee.
Wonderful, that's it with the interview. Thank you Emma!
