FrachtPilot is celebrating our annual summer party again. Here’s a look at how it went.

Previously on FrachtPilot...

In glorious weather, the FrachtPilot team, fueled by cold drinks, set off from headquarters – but where to? That remained a secret until the very end. Exhausted from the endless bike ride, we finally arrived at Lake Aasee.

For some, the excitement grew, while others started to get nervous, because our team activity wasn't going to be pedal boating. No, far from it... well, at least a little bit: Sailing, we went sailing! For three hours in the vast depths of Lake Aasee with a near-capsize during the final regatta. With shouts of "sheets tight" and "tack, don't jibe – tack!" echoing around, we feared for our lives for a brief moment.

But fortunately, everyone made it to the finish line—or at least back to the dock—safe, dry, happy, and satisfied, without any watery mishaps. ;)

But the day was far from over. More games followed: two rounds of Kubb, where Yassin unexpectedly turned out to be a natural, ensuring the other team lost by a landslide twice.

During the fun fact game , we all got to see a whole new side of our colleagues; what a great idea! For a change, everyone won this one ;) It works by having everyone write a fun fact about themselves on a slip of paper. Everyone then draws a slip and has to guess who it belongs to. Pure team building—also very important for company spirit.

Who among us has lived in Shanghai for 6 months, passed their driving test on the third attempt, or won €600 on a sports bet? Much like the regatta, we almost died during this too—from laughter, of course ;)

It was a very cozy gathering 😊

To wrap things up, we tested out the company drone for the mandatory group photo – much to the criticism of our helicopter pilot and expert Stefan; here is a quick lesson in helicopter mechanics: unlike drones, helicopters cannot stabilize themselves. You have to balance them like a pencil on your finger—"that’s the real art! That’s the only way you can pull off the really cool moves.” So, I guess drones don't have any cool moves.

Emma and Paulina from our marketing team were thrilled nonetheless and were very excited about the new toy.

Get ready for even better content than ever before! A special thank you goes to both of them for handling the entire organization of the summer party.

Finally, we headed over to Moro to wind down the evening with pizza, pasta, and plenty more cold drinks.

It was wonderful, we had fun, we enjoyed ourselves, and we are already looking forward to the next summer party!

Thanks again to Emma and Paulina for the great organization! 😊
