Interview with Marc

Good morning Marc. Hope you're doing well! We are very happy to employ you as an intern. That's why we don't want to torch for long, but start right away with the short interview.

Let's start by briefly introducing yourself. Who are you, what do you do here at FrachtPilot and what do you like to do in your free time?

Hey, I'm Marc, I'm from Lippstadt and study Computer visualistics and design at the Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences. At FrachtPilot I am doing an internship in the area Graphic/video design.

I also spend a lot of my free time in this area and try to set myself up a bit on the side. Otherwise, I like to meet up with my friends or spend an hour or two at the computer with them.

That sounds really cool. Maybe you'll briefly explain in more detail what you do during an internship in graphics/video design. What are the typical tasks that you work on with us?

I've already done a lot of different things during my internship. From creating promotional videos to exhibition materials, everything is included. For example, for the ExpoSe In 2021, we took over the planning and implementation of our advertising materials for the trade fair as well as the general exhibition stand planning.

Then the internship is a great fit for your degree program!

Our company is still very young, a Start-up. How would you describe the working environment?

I would say that the working environment is exactly what you would expect in a start-up. A relaxed, relaxed atmosphere, you are on equal footing and can also express your honest opinion at any time. And there is always time for tea and a nice chat in between.

Now, in December 2021, we are in the middle of Corona pandemic and the home office requirement has recently been in force again. Not easy events, then. How does working from home work?

Working from home works just as well as working in the office, there is always someone available if you have any questions. A phone call with some small talk is also a must. By the way: The cover photo of me was taken in my home office.

If you have to draw a conclusion so far: Is the internship something like you imagined? If not, where and how were your expectations different?

To be honest, I didn't really know what to expect at the beginning. However, I can definitely say that it is exactly the way I like it. I have various tasks, but they are all in my area of interest and I also have to take on a certain level of responsibility.

I would definitely recommend an internship with FrachtPilot.
