Frame tours play an important role in Delivery planning. In contrast to normal tours, which are recalculated every time, frame tours are relatively firmly defined and are only changed from time to time. It is therefore all the more important that they are well optimized!

Have frame tours optimized

Tours are often created by hand, for example to cover specific locations. With the new FreightPilot function, frame tours can now be automatically optimized. This involves completely recalculating an existing frame tour, so that the order may also change fundamentally (for the better). Customer time windows can still be taken into account!

Even if a certain adjustment is necessary first, it is worthwhile to have your tours optimized. After all, they are often used for long periods of time and also serve as a basis for daily tours.

How does it work in FrachtPilot?

Important: Before you optimize a frame tour, you should copy the original variant so that you can return to the original if necessary.

A frame tour can be optimized by scrolling all the way down in the editing view or creating view of the frame tour and checking the “Automated optimization” box. Here you also have the option of including the customer's delivery time windows. It is important that the departure times of the vehicle are set correctly.
