March update — 1a new features for FrachtPilot

In time for spring, the FrachtPilot A new Update received in March 2024. Find out everything that's new, what optimizations are there and what bugs we've fixed here:

1. Notes on items for delivery note and invoice

Often should orders a comment about a specific position, for example when it is a credit for a specific day or when more information is needed. With the new comments, you can then also add them to the delivery note reckoning and display the packing list.

When ordering, you can create a comment by clicking on the small arrow in front of the product name:

2. Online shop

Shopping carts are stored longer

Your customers fill their cart, but do you want to order later? From now on, the shopping cart will last longer and the purchase can be continued on other devices as you wish without having to add all new items!

Displaying article numbers

When with you especially business customers Order and the item number helps you order, then this can now be done with the CSS selectors s-external-number, S-internal-number, and S-product-number display. Please note that these are deactivated by default and via CSS adjustments must be displayed.

3. Improved change of orders with inventory-dependent items

We have the logic in Shop revised, which checks existing orders to see whether it is possible to adjust the order quantity if the item is sold out and the customer has already reserved goods.

4. Customers: The customer type can now be changed

If a customer was created as a private customer, but the customer type should actually be a business customer, then you can change the customer type now:

When making the change, you can also directly change the customer group. The invoice type is also changed directly and updated in all open orders and standing orders.

5. Products: New box for your cash registers - PLU

Until now, the EAN/PLU field existed as a common field for products. However, in connection with cash register systems, it is necessary that EAN and PLU can be maintained separately. With this update, the new PLU field was introduced and the previous field was renamed EAN. A corresponding placeholder PLU was also introduced for documents.

In contrast to EAN, however, PLU may only occur once, as otherwise an error message is generated:

The following changes have been made to placeholders:

Until now, INVOICE_REMARKS had to be included within and outside the item table to display notes on the invoice. For collective invoices, the placeholder in the table was used. In the case of an individual invoice, the placeholder is under the invoice. With the new placeholder ALL_INVOICE_REMARKS, a placeholder can now be used outside the position table, which always shows all annotations.

labels

• Show NET, BIG, and TOTAL of the total value of an order for the label of the entire order
• New placeholder TCONTYPE to display the type of transport container (second label type)

7. Other changes

• Date selection: If I want to select a period of time, the BIS field now reacts to the selection of the FROM field for most fields and adapts when selecting. This reduces the number of clicks required.
• Deleted articles are retained in the evaluations and are searchable.
• Specifying the delivery period for invoicing is now mandatory.
• Shop: Optionally, the item number can be displayed in the product in the shop.
• Background jobs: The background jobs are now saved for a longer period of time.
• Until now, nonsensical time estimates have been displayed when planning trips. These are now hidden.
